Sven Lilienström is an expert in strategic political communication. As the founder of the initiatives Faces of Democracy and Faces of Peace, he has interviewed more than 130 prominent national and international individuals from politics, the media, the economy and society since 2017 – these include numerous European heads of state and government, Nobel Peace Prize Laureates, the publishers and chief editors of leading media publications and the CEOs of international DAX companies.
Lilienström is the author of several guest commentaries in renowned German-language newspapers, among others. He also writes regularly for the Center on Public Diplomacy at the University of Southern California. Sven Lilienström is a member of the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) and an individual member of the British Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House.
In June 2020, the German Cultural Council’s Cultural Integration Initiative named him “Person of the Month” for his commitment in the fight against the division of society.
